“Variety is the spice of life…” ~William Cowper
I’m moving forward to unknown challenges after 30 years of nursing in our community. I’ll be spending more time with the alpacas as we are fine-tuning our focus more toward blacks and greys. I’m also planning time to unleash the suppressed, creative side of me, too………..I’m talking a deep breath and stepping out on the ledge of faith.
In anticipation of these changes coming, a few transitions have taken place. I have had the wonderful opportunity and honor to meet Linda and Casey and their great family Jamie, David & Casey. Their excitement and sincere motivation to begin in the alpaca business is so heart-warming. After several visits and great conversations, they left here with some real sweet gems and I know my alpacas have graduated on to a loving home where they will continue to be well-cared for and loved. Above all, it so nice having this new friendship.
As a season of new changes and beginnings, I’d like to introduce a couple of new-comers:
PATCHES: Is this adorable little girl meant to be or not? Thanks to her previous owners Mike & Kim Bisceglia from McCarty Creek Ranch. This sweetheart, who is bred to Granite Bay’s Neversummer’s US Steel, will be joining us toward the end of the year with her cria. Steel is an awesome grey male who is passing his stunning grey genetics on to his progeny.
JEWEL: From Phil and Vickie Linske from Outstanding Dreams Farm, I’ll be welcoming the ever-so-lovely Jewel later this summer after her breeding and settled pregnancy to A Paca Fun Super Sonic!
